اسٹیٹ بینک نے شرح سود میں اضافے کا اعلان کردیا۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق مانیٹری پالیسی کمیٹی نے آئی ایم ایف کے دباؤ پر شرح سود میں 300 بیسز پوائنٹس (3 فیصد) اضافہ کردیا۔

شرح سود 300 بیسز پوائنٹس کے اضافے سے 20 فیصد پر پہنچ گئی۔
اس سے قبل شرح سود 17 فیصد پر تھی۔
3/3 MPC noted that reduction in CAD is important but requires concerted efforts to improve external situation. It emphasized that any significant fiscal slippage would undermine monetary policy effectiveness in the context of achieving the price stability objective.

واضح رہے کہ آج انٹربینک میں ڈالر کی قیمت 18 روپے 98 پیسے کے تاریخی اضافے سے تاریخ کی بلند ترین سطح پر پہنچ گئی ہے۔
اوپن مارکیٹ میں بھی ڈالر 14 روپے کے اضافے سے 288 روپے پر بند ہوا۔
